Liminal Pool evoking a vacant, timeless aquatic space. The pool, tiles, and surrounding structures were modeled in 3ds Max, then fully textured in Substance Painter to achieve cold, realistic, slightly worn surfaces. The environment was assembled in Unreal Engine 5, using Lumen and deliberately artificial lighting to enhance the silent, uncanny atmosphere of an abandoned pool. The piece aims to capture the feeling of a familiar yet suspended place, positioned between light, silence, and memory.
