Il n’y a pas que les vid\u00e9os qui peuvent faire le buzz. Vous pouvez donner vie \u00e0 vos clich\u00e9s les plus statiques gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 connu sous le nom de cin\u00e9magraphe<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Il s’agit d’images \u00e0 la jonction entre les photos et les vid\u00e9os, o\u00f9 juste une petite zone est anim\u00e9e. L’\u0153il est irr\u00e9sistiblement attir\u00e9 vers cette portion d’image qui bouge, toute seule, d’une mani\u00e8re presque hypnotique. Cette technique est encore assez peu utilis\u00e9e et son impact reste donc d’autant plus fort.<\/p>\n

Ce qui est rare est pr\u00e9cieux. Et, contrairement \u00e0 ce que pourraient penser certains bonshommes aux grands pieds velus, ce qui est pr\u00e9cieux se partage.<\/p>\n

La petite histoire du cin\u00e9magraphe<\/h2>\n

Le terme cin\u00e9magraphe, comme son utilisation, est assez r\u00e9cent. C’est en 2011 seulement qu’un photographe et un sp\u00e9cialiste de l’animation, Kevin Burg et Jamie Beck, eurent l’id\u00e9e de proposer une nouvelle version des gifs anim\u00e9s. Ces derniers produits apparaissaient un peu ringardis\u00e9s, malgr\u00e9 leur poids l\u00e9ger, qui les rend faciles \u00e0 partager.<\/p>\n

Les cin\u00e9magraphes constituent, pour leurs cr\u00e9ateurs, d’autres mani\u00e8res de raconter des histoires… et m\u00eame de voir le monde. Il faut en effet se focaliser sur une seule zone qui sera anim\u00e9e, le reste de l’image restant immobile. Un th\u00e9 qui est vers\u00e9 \u00e0 l’infini ou un feu illuminant un camp dans la nature constituent de tr\u00e8s bons outils pour une strat\u00e9gie de storytelling.<\/p>\n

Comment r\u00e9aliser un cin\u00e9magraphe efficace ?<\/h2>\n

Le cadrage est essentiel pour un effet r\u00e9ussi. Les cr\u00e9ateurs du cin\u00e9magraphe ont appris \u00e0 travailler leur regard pour r\u00e9aliser que tout ce qui les entoure est vivant, depuis la fum\u00e9e qui s’\u00e9chappe d’une bouche \u00e0 un reflet dans une vitrine ou un jeu de lumi\u00e8res.<\/p>\n

Il faut ensuite filmer l’image qui sera transform\u00e9e\u00a0: tout part d’une vid\u00e9o. C’est elle qui sera transform\u00e9e en image fixe gr\u00e2ce aux outils calques des logiciels photographiques comme Photoshop.<\/p>\n

Il faudra un calque du fond de l’image (immobile) et un calque du mouvement qui devra \u00eatre r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9 (pr\u00e9f\u00e9rez une s\u00e9quence courte pour que le fichier ne soit pas trop lourd). Un outil de s\u00e9lection vous permettra d’isoler la zone \u00e0 animer, puis de l’int\u00e9grer. Un masque vous permettra de lier ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments et d’obtenir votre gif.<\/p>\n

Il est souvent conseill\u00e9 de s’appuyer sur les filtres pour obtenir ces r\u00e9sultats un peu r\u00e9tro qui sont l’apanage de nombreux cin\u00e9magraphes actuellement.<\/p>\n

Il existe \u00e9galement de nouveaux logiciels sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s dans ce domaine, comme Flixel (pour Mac)\u00a0ou des applications pour Andro\u00efd comme Fotodanz, pour des r\u00e9sultats peut-\u00eatre un petit peu plus amateurs.<\/p>\n

Si la manipulation peut sembler un peu compliqu\u00e9e pour des novices, faites appel \u00e0 des graphistes pour r\u00e9aliser vos cin\u00e9magraphes<\/a>, ils vous permettront d’obtenir des images nettes et r\u00e9ussies.<\/p>\n

L’utilisation des cin\u00e9magraphes<\/h2>\n

Il est d\u00e9j\u00e0 possible actuellement de choisir un cin\u00e9magraphe comme photo de profil sur Facebook. De grandes marques ont \u00e9galement exploit\u00e9 ce format pour leurs derni\u00e8res campagnes de publicit\u00e9, comme Netflix r\u00e9cemment.<\/p>\n

Il est aussi possible de les s\u00e9lectionner en fond pour un site internet ou, bien s\u00fbr, de les partager sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux.<\/p>\n

Instagram reste le site o\u00f9 vous aurez le plus d’int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 effectuer cette op\u00e9ration, mais il ne faut surtout pas se priver de montrer ses cin\u00e9magraphes sur Twitter, Facebook ou consorts.<\/p>\n

Il ne faut pas non plus h\u00e9siter \u00e0 les inclure dans les mails envoy\u00e9s, par exemple dans les newsletters. Plusieurs \u00e9tudes ont d’ailleurs montr\u00e9 qu’un email pr\u00e9sentant du contenu anim\u00e9 occasionne 25 % de clics suppl\u00e9mentaires par rapport \u00e0 un autre mail.<\/p>\n

Bien s\u00fbr, pour \u00eatre efficace, le cinemagraphe doit \u00eatre inclus d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but du message, afin de pouvoir \u00eatre vu avant que le lecteur ne soit lass\u00e9 par les autres messages.<\/p>\n
