Qu’est-ce que le Gestalt ?<\/h2>\n

Le Gestalt a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par des psychologues allemands dans les ann\u00e9es 20. Ils ont \u00e9tudi\u00e9 la perception visuelle et d\u00e9termin\u00e9 un certain nombre de r\u00e8gles qui n’ont eu de cesse d’\u00eatre mises en applications dans toutes les cr\u00e9ations graphiques depuis.<\/p>\n

Pour bien les comprendre, il faut accepter l’id\u00e9e que l’\u0153il et le cerveau recherchent naturellement l’ordre. Ils pr\u00e9f\u00e9reront toujours trouver un sens et du lien entre diff\u00e9rents \u00e9l\u00e9ments plut\u00f4t que d’accepter le hasard et le vide. C’est ainsi qu’une forme de nuage va vous \u00e9voquer un animal ou que l’ombre d’un portemanteau peut devenir effrayante.<\/p>\n

De nombreuses illusions visuelles (ou trompe-l’\u0153il) sont bas\u00e9es ce principe. Nous allons nous attarder sur deux d’entre elles, parmi les plus faciles \u00e0 mettre en place.<\/p>\n

Les bases du principe de proximit\u00e9<\/h2>\n

D’apr\u00e8s le Gestalt, des \u00e9l\u00e9ments proches les uns des autres sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme un groupe ou un ensemble plut\u00f4t que comme des \u00e9l\u00e9ments diff\u00e9rents. Le peu de distance entre eux cr\u00e9e cet effet de groupe.<\/p>\n

\"Principe<\/p>\n

Ce principe permet d’organiser vos cr\u00e9ations graphiques en rapprochant visuellement diff\u00e9rents objets. Pensez \u00e0 des s\u00e9ries de trois, par exemple. Ajoutez de l’espace<\/a> entre chaque s\u00e9rie. Et vous aurez un agencement ordonn\u00e9 qui rassure l’esprit et qui facilite la lecture de l’image.<\/p>\n

\"Effet<\/a><\/p>\n

C’est une mani\u00e8re de proc\u00e9der qui est aussi tr\u00e8s pratique pour la navigation sur un site ou une application : en reliant de cette mani\u00e8re diff\u00e9rents objets ou liens, vous cr\u00e9erez une hi\u00e9rarchie qui facilitera la future lecture de votre page par les internautes.<\/p>\n

Le principe de similarit\u00e9 appliqu\u00e9 en UX design<\/h2>\n

Le cerveau n’aime pas le d\u00e9sordre (et pas seulement le cerveau allemand). Il va donc chercher \u00e0 organiser ce qu’il voit. S’il trouve des formes qui se ressemblent, il va donc instaurer automatiquement un lien entre elles.<\/p>\n

\"Principe<\/p>\n

Dans le cadre d’une composition graphique, avec des \u00e9l\u00e9ments disparates, tous les cercles sur une page auront automatiquement une histoire en commun, que ce soit voulu ou non.<\/p>\n

En sachant cela, autant le vouloir et en profiter pour jouer sur ce lien. La forme va jouer, mais aussi la taille, la couleur, ou m\u00eame l’orientation (pivot\u00e9 vers la droite, par exemple). Cet effet de similarit\u00e9 vous aidera aussi \u00e0 mettre en avant certains \u00e9l\u00e9ments : les “anomalies”. Ce sera un carr\u00e9 l\u00e0 o\u00f9 toutes les images sont dans des cercles, ou une colonne de couleur de fond diff\u00e9rente.<\/p>\n

Cet \u00e9l\u00e9ment d\u00e9rangeant, qui ne peut \u00eatre associ\u00e9 aux autres, attirera automatiquement le regard et sera diff\u00e9renci\u00e9.<\/p>\n

\"Diff\u00e9renciation\"<\/a><\/p>\n

On retrouve un peu le principe du mouton soir : ce qui est diff\u00e9rend se voit plus. Mais aussi une id\u00e9e d’agencement : pour guider un utilisateur, reprendre syst\u00e9matiquement la m\u00eame pr\u00e9sentation pour le m\u00eame type d’information ou de lien sera une technique d’UX design bienvenue.<\/p>\n
